The game provider Play’n Go seems to have developed a special affinity for ancient Egypt. The number of Egyptian-themed slots the company has released over the years, like Book of Dead, Legacy of Dead, Doom of Egypt, etc., makes one wonder if the studio has run out of ideas or if it is just they are banking on a highly popular genre?
Whatever the case, the abundance of Egyptian slots in Play’n Go canon leads to the problem of too much visual similarity. Thankfully, this issue doesn’t pop up in the case of Ankh of Anubis, which uses an unconventional reel design and presents the Egyptian theme in a new, futuristic light.
