Legitimacy and Fairness
A common question from players online, especially within the crypto gambling community, is this: Is Rainbet Casino legit or is it a scam?
This is exactly what our first section is meant to clarify. After making our $500 deposit, which we tested live on our Kick channel (and now also available on YouTube), you can see a transparent walkthrough of both deposit and withdrawal processes.
Following the gameplay, we took time to examine the terms and conditions offline. Using our proprietary Fairness Index, something we developed to deeply evaluate casino policies beyond what any other review site does, we reviewed Rainbet’s policies in depth.
Our Fairness Index rates casinos on a scale from 1 to 4. We assigned Rainbet a Level 3, which means their terms and conditions are clear, accessible, and transparent. It outlines all necessary details users need to know: what to expect when signing up, how they should behave on the platform, and the rules around playing with real money.
Licensing
When we first came across Rainbet Casino in 2024, the platform operated under a Curaçao license. However, over the past year, Curaçao has introduced a new regulatory structure, prompting many casinos, including Rainbet, to adapt.
As of today, Rainbet states in its footer and Terms & Conditions that the company licensing is now provided by the Offshore Finance Authority of The State of Anjouan. The brand is managed by RB Gaming NV, with a registered company address in Curaçao.
Reputation
Since late 2023, Rainbet Casino has steadily built up its online reputation through several strategic moves. One of the key efforts was partnering with popular streamers. Platforms like Kick and Twitch have showcased streamers choosing Rainbet as their go-to casino, allowing them to highlight the platform’s strengths and features live.
On our own site, Rainbet has consistently received strong feedback from players. The majority of user reviews score higher than 4 out of 5, with the current average nearing a perfect 5. This is a strong indicator that most users are satisfied with their experience.
That said, it's important to note that many of the reviews come from new players, typically those who have wagered less than $3,000 to $5,000 in total. Still, this positive sentiment across entry-level users is a good sign.
We also heard from a VIP player who mentioned the convenience of Rainbet’s banking options, including support for crypto deposits, gift cards, and region-specific methods like PIX for the Brazilian market.
Complaints
When it comes to user complaints, Rainbet stands out in a good way. On reputable platforms that track and resolve casino disputes, like CasinoGuru and AskGamblers, there are currently no complaints filed against Rainbet Casino. This reinforces what we’ve already observed through our own community: the vast majority of feedback is positive.
We're pleased to see this clean track record, as it reflects well on how the casino handles customer service and operational transparency.
KYC Policy
According to its Terms & Conditions, Rainbet Casino includes a dedicated section about KYC (Know Your Customer) policies. From our personal experience, there is no KYC required immediately upon sign-up. However, within the user profile settings, there are four clearly defined verification levels:
- Level 1 – Personal Information: Users must provide basic details including first name, last name, birth date, address, city, and country.
- Level 2 – ID Verification and Live Check: This involves uploading a valid ID and completing a live check using a third-party service, confirming the user is real and not attempting to abuse the platform.
- Level 3 – Proof of Address: A recent document such as a utility bill, rental agreement, or any official document (not older than three months) is required to confirm your address.
- Level 4 – Source of Income: Users may be asked to provide documents such as payslips, tax returns, or contracts that prove the source of their income.
While these four levels exist, Rainbet only requests KYC verification if there are issues. This could include suspected bonus abuse, multi-accounting, or playing from restricted countries.
Restricted jurisdictions according to their licensing terms include (but are not limited to): the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Australia, Austria, Ireland, Germany, Spain, and Cyprus. Rainbet reserves the right to request full KYC documentation if any activity appears to violate their policies or jurisdictional restrictions.
Our Experience:
During our live testing of Rainbet Casino, following a $500 deposit, we were not asked to complete any of the KYC verification levels. However, we also did not make a substantial withdrawal that might trigger KYC.
From our experience with other crypto casinos such as Stake, Betfury, and BCGAME, a withdrawal of around $1,000 to $2,000 or more often leads to at least a Level 1 or Level 2 KYC request. We assume Rainbet would follow a similar pattern when handling larger cash-outs.
VPN Policy
Rainbet Casino includes a clear statement on VPN use in its Terms & Conditions. Section 3.4 specifically states:
"You may not use a VPN, proxy, or similar services or devices that mask or manipulate the identification of your real location."
Despite this, based on our own testing and what we've seen from other players in the community, it appears that Rainbet is relatively VPN-friendly. Players can access the casino and play using VPNs, and the platform doesn't currently enforce restrictions aggressively.
That said, it's important to advise caution. VPN use can sometimes lead to technical issues, such as lag or dropped connections during games. For example, if you're spinning a slot and your VPN connection drops, you might lose that round, or worse, miss out on a winning spin.
While Rainbet may close an eye on VPN use in general, if there's a dispute or large withdrawal involved, they could point to the VPN policy in their Terms & Conditions to justify actions against your account.
So while we do consider Rainbet to be VPN-friendly in practice, players should always proceed carefully and be aware of the potential risks.
Responsible Gambling
Rainbet Casino has a small section on its site dedicated to Responsible Gambling. There is a separate page that provides five general tips to help users manage their gambling habits. These include standard advice such as getting started wisely, setting a budget, and knowing your limits, guidance that is fairly typical across many crypto casinos.
However, compared to top-tier platforms like BetFury, Rainbet’s Responsible Gambling tools are quite limited. There are no advanced features like loss limits, reality checks, or detailed session controls.
What they do offer is a self-exclusion feature. Users can request a break from gambling that ranges from a few days to several months, or even years. When you initiate a self-exclusion, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Once clicked, this allows you to set the duration of your break.
We believe Responsible Gambling is very important, and it is part of how we rate crypto casinos. Rainbet could achieve a higher score in this category by adding more limiting tools, such as wager limits, time limits, and loss limits, similar to what we’ve seen on top crypto platforms like Stake. Additionally, the ability to self-exclude can also be handled via live chat with customer support, which is important for users who prefer assistance or cannot access email at the moment.
